Heated Steering Wheel System. Heated Steering Wheel System Does Not Activate Nissan Pathfinder 2022

Symptom Description

• The heated steering wheel does not warm up.

• The heated steering wheel system cannot be turned OFF.

Diagnosis Procedure

PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS

CONSULT

1. Ignition switch ON.

2. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "HVAC".

Is DTC detected?

YES>>

Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL

Check heated steering wheel. Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Replace heated steering wheel. Refer to Removal and Installation.

CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY AND BACK-UP LAMP RELAY (HEATED STEERING WHEEL RELAY)

Check heated steering wheel relay and back-up lamp relay (heated steering wheel relay). Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Replace heated steering wheel relay. Refer to Component Parts Location.

CHECK HEATED STEERING WHEEL CIRCUIT

Check heated steering wheel circuits. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.
