Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

• Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description.

• When replacing the ECM, a new ECM must be used. The functions controlled by the ECM do not operate properly if an ECM from another Nissan Pathfinder vehicle is used.

REMOVAL

Remove battery tray. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Disconnect the harness connector from ECM.

Remove ECM nuts, and then remove ECM.

If necessary, remove bolts and then the ECM bracket.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM". Refer to Description.

Stop/start Off Switch Nissan Pathfinder 2022

Removal and Installation

Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. Refer to Battery Disconnect.

Remove shift selector finisher. Refer to Exploded View.

Disconnect the harness connectors from the switches on the shift selector finisher.

Remove the screws (A).

Remove the stop/start off switch (1) from shift selector finisher (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Battery Disconnect.

Remove wheel and tire (LH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Partially remove front half of fender protector (LH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Disconnect harness connector from electric intake valve timing control module.

CAUTION:

Do not touch harness connector pins with bare hands.

Remove electric intake valve timing control module.

If necessary, remove electric intake valve timing control module bracket.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

Perform ELECTRIC IVT CONTROL ACTUATOR POSITION LEARNING. Refer to Description.

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Battery Disconnect.

Remove luggage side lower finisher (LH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Disconnect harness connector from fuel pump control module.

Remove nut and bolt from bracket and remove fuel pump control module assembly.

If necessary, remove bolts from fuel pump control module and remove fuel pump control module bracket.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
