SEAT BELT RETRACTOR (LH/RH)

REMOVAL

Remove the back pillar finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove bolt (A) and remove D-ring anchor (B).

RH side shown; LH side similar.

Remove bolt (A) and remove seat belt retractor (1).

NOTE:

RH side shown; LH side similar.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the D-ring anchor bolt, seat belt lower anchor bolt, and the seat belt retractor bolts to specification.
Make sure the D-ring anchor operates freely.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.

SEAT BELT RETRACTOR (CENTER)

REMOVAL

Insert suitable tool (A) into seat belt connector (1) and release the seat belt retractor [center (2)].

Release clips and pawls as shown and remove the seat belt retractor center finisher (1).

Remove bolts (A) and remove the seat belt retractor [center (1)].

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the D-ring anchor bolt, seat belt lower anchor bolt, and the seat belt retractor bolts to specification.
Make sure the D-ring anchor operates freely.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.

SEAT BELT BUCKLE

Removal

Remove the third row seats. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Disconnect the harness connector from the seat belt buckle.

Using suitable tool, remove the harness retainers from seat.

NOTE:

Take note of harness routing and attachment location for correct installation.

Route the seat belt buckle through the opening of the seat cushion and remove.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the seat belt buckle anchor bolt to specification.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.
