SEAT BELT RETRACTOR (LH/RH)
REMOVAL
WARNING:
Before servicing the SRS, place ignition switch in the OFF position, disconnect both battery terminals then wait at least three minutes.
Do not drop the seat belt retractor. Always handle it with care.
Always point pre-tensioner cylinder away from body when handling.
Disconnect negative and positive battery terminals, then wait at least three minutes. Refer to Battery Disconnect.
Remove the rear pillar finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Remove nut (A) and remove D-ring anchor (B).

For USA and Canada, disconnect the harness connector (A) from rear seat belt pre-tensioner (1).

CAUTION:
For removing the seat belt pre-tensioner harness connector, lift tabs to release the lock and remove the harness connector.
For installing the harness connector, align the connector to the connector housing, then press firmly on the connector until the locking tabs are engaged.

Remove bolts (A) and remove the seat belt retractor (1).

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Make sure that the seat belt height adjuster is locked in the lowest position and is aligned with the finisher opening during installation.
Tighten the D-ring anchor bolt, seat belt retractor bolts, and lower anchor bolt to specification.
Make sure both the D-ring anchor and seat belt height adjuster operate freely.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.
SEAT BELT RETRACTOR (CENTER)
REMOVAL
Remove the LH seatback pad and seatback trim as an assembly from the seat frame assembly. Refer to Seatback.
From under the LH seat, remove the lower anchor bolt (A) from the seatbelt buckle [LH (1)] and the seat belt retractor [center (2)].
Remove nut (A) and remove the seat belt retractor [center (1)].
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the seat belt retractor nut and seat belt buckle bolt to specification.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.
SEAT BELT BUCKLE (LH)
REMOVAL
Remove the LH seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion.
Disconnect the harness connector from the seat belt buckle (LH).
Using suitable tool, remove the harness retainers from seat.
NOTE:
Take note of harness routing and attachment location for correct installation.
Remove the seat belt buckle anchor bolt using the following procedure.
For models with captain seats, remove bolt (A) and remove the seat belt buckle [LH (1)].
For models with bench seats, from under the LH seat, remove the lower anchor bolt (A) from the seatbelt buckle [1 (LH)] and the seat belt retractor [2 (center)].
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten the seat belt buckle anchor bolt and seat belt retractor lower anchor bolt to specification.
Always perform an inspection after repair to make sure the system is functioning within specifications. Refer to Inspection.

REMOVAL
Remove the RH seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion.
Disconnect the harness connector from the seat belt buckle (RH).
