WITHOUT NAVIGATION

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

• Remove battery terminal and AV control unit after a lapse of 30 seconds or more after placing the ignition switch OFF.

NOTE:

After the ignition switch is placed OFF, the AV control unit continues operating for approximately 30 seconds.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove cluster lid D. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove the screws, then pull out the AV control unit.

Disconnect the harness connectors from the AV control unit.

Remove AV control unit.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

If replacing AV control unit, perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING AV CONTROL UNIT". Refer to Description.

Bose Speaker Amp Nissan Pathfinder Fifth generation

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

If replacing BOSE speaker amp, perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING BOSE SPEAKER AMP." Refer to Description.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation

Remove third row seat. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove BOSE speaker amp. (1) screws (A).

Disconnect the harness connectors (B) from the BOSE speaker amp. and remove BOSE speaker amp.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

If replacing BOSE speaker amp, perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING BOSE SPEAKER AMP." Refer to Description.

Center Speaker Nissan Pathfinder 2025

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove defroster grille. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove the center speaker (1) bolts (A).

Disconnect the harness connector from the center speaker and remove center speaker from instrument panel assembly (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Instrument Panel Tweeter Nissan Pathfinder 2022

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove defroster grille. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove bolts (A).

NOTE:

RH shown; LH similar.

Disconnect the harness connector from instrument panel tweeter (1) and remove instrument panel tweeter from instrument panel (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Front Tweeter Nissan Pathfinder 5th Gen

REMOVAL

Remove the front pillar finisher (1). Refer to Removal and Installation .

Remove screws (A) and remove the front tweeter (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Front Door Speaker Nissan Pathfinder 5th Gen

REMOVAL

Remove the front door finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove the front door speaker bolts.

Pull out the front door speaker from the speaker bracket.

Disconnect the harness connector from front door speaker and remove the front door speaker.

Remove the speaker bracket bolts and the speaker bracket from front door (if necessary).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Door Speaker Nissan Pathfinder SUV

REMOVAL

Remove the rear door finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove the rear door speaker bolts.

Disconnect the harness connector from the rear door speaker and remove the rear door speaker.

Remove the speaker bracket bolts and the speaker bracket from the rear door (if necessary).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Side Speaker Nissan Pathfinder R53

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove the luggage side lower finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove screws (A) and remove rear side speaker (1) from luggage side lower finisher (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Subwoofer Nissan Pathfinder Fifth generation

REMOVAL

Remove luggage side lower finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove the clamp.

Remove bolt.

Disconnect the harness connector from the subwoofer and remove the subwoofer.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Front Auxiliary Input Jacks Nissan Pathfinder Fifth generation

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove cluster lid C lower. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Using a suitable tool, release pawls and remove front auxiliary input jack (1) from cluster lid C lower (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Antenna Base Nissan Pathfinder SUV

Removal and Installation

Remove rear pillar finisher (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove back pillar finisher (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove luggage side upper finisher (LH/RH). Refer to Removal and Installation.

Partially remove back door body side welt.

Lower rear of headlining. Refer to Exploded View.

Remove bolt (A), then remove the washer (2) and holder (1).

CAUTION:

Do not reuse washer.

Disconnect harness connector from the antenna base and remove antenna base.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

If the antenna nut is not tightened to the specified torque, lower sensitivity of the antenna may be experienced. If the nut is tightened tighter than the specified torque, this will deform the roof panel.

Gps Antenna Nissan Pathfinder SUV

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Remove screw and remove the GPS antenna.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Steering Switches Nissan Pathfinder 5th Gen

Removal and Installation

The steering switches are serviced as an assembly with the ICC steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Microphone Nissan Pathfinder 2025

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

Remove the front room/map lamp assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Release the pawls, then remove the microphone (1) from the front room/map lamp assembly (2).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
