Component Parts Location

Power Seat Switch

• The power seat switch is installed on the seat cushion outer finisher.

  

  (Power seat switch RH shown, LH similar)

• Built-in reclining switch, sliding switch and lifting switch controls the power supplied to each power seat motor.

Sliding Motor

• The sliding motor is installed to the seat frame assembly.

  

  (Front seat LH shown, RH similar)

• The seat is moved forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of the sliding motor.

Reclining Motor

• The reclining motor is installed to the seat back assembly.

  

  (Front seat LH shown, RH similar)

• The seat back is reclined forward/backward by changing the rotation direction of the reclining motor.

Lifting Motor (Front)

• The lifting motor (front) is installed to the seat frame assembly.

  

• The seat is moved upward/downward by changing the rotation direction of the lifting motor (front).

Lifting Motor (Rear)

• The lifting motor (rear) is installed to the seat frame assembly.

  

• The seat is moved upward/downward by changing the rotation direction of the lifting motor (rear).

Lumbar Support Motor

• The lumbar support motor is installed on the seat back assembly.

  

• With power supplied to the lumbar support switch, the lumbar support motor operates the forward and backward movement of the seat back support.

Lumbar Support Switch

• The lumbar support switch is installed on the front seat cushion outer finisher.

  

  (4 way lumbar support switch shown, 2 way lumbar support switch similar)

• The lumbar support switch controls the power supplied to the lumbar support motor.

• Front seat heater is installed in the seat cushion trim and seat back trim.

  

• Front seat heater controls the temperature of the front seat by activating the front seat heater using the signals transmitted from the A/C amp. via LIN communication.

• Front seat heater consists of a CPU that controls the temperature of the front seat by activating the front seat heater.

Front Heated Seat Switch

• Front heated seat switch LH/RH are integrated with the front A/C switch assembly.

  

• Front A/C switch assembly transmits the heated seat request signal to the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

• Front A/C switch assembly receives the heated seat switch indicator signal from the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

Seat Cushion Blower

• Seat cushion blower is installed to the seat frame assembly.

  

• Seat cushion blower controls seat cushion ventilation by activating the seat cushion blower using the signals transmitted from the front seat heater via LIN communication.

• Front seat heater consists of a CPU that controls seat cushion ventilation by activating the seat cushion blower according to the signal received from the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

Front Heated Seat Switch

• Front heated seat switch LH/RH are integrated with the front A/C switch assembly.

  

• Front A/C switch assembly transmits the heated seat request signal to the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

• Front A/C switch assembly receives the heated seat switch indicator signal from the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

Climate Controlled Seat Switch

• Climate controlled seat switch LH/RH are integrated with the front A/C switch assembly.

  

• Front A/C switch assembly transmits the climate controlled seat request signal to the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

• Front A/C switch assembly receives the climate controlled seat switch indicator signal from the A/C auto amp. via LIN communication.

Second Row Seat Power Walk in System Nissan Pathfinder SUV

Component Parts Location

Walk In Switch

• Walk in back switch is installed to the seat back assembly.

• Walk in side switch is installed on the side second row seat cushion outer finisher.

  

• Walk in switch transmits switch signal to the second row seat power walk in control unit.

• Walk in switch indicator is integrated with the walk in switch, and blinks when a malfunction in the second row seat power walk in system is detected by the second row seat power walk in control unit.

Seat Walk In Motor

• Seat walk in motor is installed in the second row seat back assembly.

  

• Seat walk in motor allows for pitching operation of the second row seat.

• Seat walk in motor activates/deactivates based on control signal from the second row seat power walk in control unit.

Seat Angle Sensor

• Seat angle sensor is installed in the seat back assembly (inner recliner).

• Seat angle sensor is turned ON/OFF when the seat back is folded flat/upright.

• Seat angle sensor transmits a signal to the second row seat power walk in control unit.

Second Row Seat Power Walk In Control Unit

• Second row seat power walk in control unit is installed underneath the second row seat RH seat cushion.

  

• Second row seat power walk in control unit controls the seat walk in motors in accordance with the input signal.
